Penetrating vs. Topical Sealers
Penetrating sealers (silane-siloxane) are best for driveways as they don't change the look but prevent salt damage. Topical sealers (acrylics) provide that "wet look" but require a non-slip additive to prevent the surface from becoming dangerously slick when wet.
